Events at the Centre

We do not receive funding from any source other than by charitable donation and through the events we organize. Coming soon.

We will be holding an Easter Coffee Morning on Saturday 15th March at Great Ayton in the Parochial Church hall from 10.00 am until 1.00 pm. There will be goods on sale from local crafters plus the usual goodies made by the Centre's own craft group, an Easter Egg Tombola, raffle, cake stall, hot cross buns and coffee - all to egg you on to spend some cash in aid of a good cause. Do you want to help? You can donate a chocolate egg for the tombola, bake a cake for the cake stall, buy a ticket or pay at the door - any or all of these ideas. Tickets at £1 are on sale at the Centre and include refreshments. See you there!

Our next Coffee Morning to be held here in the Centre will take place on Friday 4th April from 10.00 until 1.00 pm. Come along for the usual mix of coffee and cake, a chance to buy some gifts and talk to friends. We will draw our monthly raffle at this event. As you may know, we reduced the frequency of these events, as they were not so well attended as in times past, but people have asked for a Coffee Morning here at the Centre, so we are happy to oblige. Please come along and help to make it a success.

On Thursday 24th April we are holding a Ladies Evening in the Centre. The event will include a flower arranging demonstration, a guest speaker, goodies on sale and canapes and wine. These events are always popular and tickets are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are £10 and available at the Centre.

Following the successful Hadrian's Wall Adventure last year, this year we plan to tackle the Dales Way, walking 80 miles from Ilkley to Bowness-on-Windermere in June, from 8th to 13th. Places are limited but if you want to know more, please contact the Centre.
