Welcome to the Holistic Cancer Care Centre

The Centre opened in July 2003 for use by patients registered with a consultant oncologist based at James Cook University Hospital.

We provide a range of supportive therapies to complement the orthodox treatments of surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and hormone therapy. Trained practitioners provide these therapies free of charge.

We also have The Bra Clinic, which provides practical advice after surgery for breast cancer patients and Headstrong, a service to help those with hair loss after chemotherapy.


The Holistic Cancer Care Centre

is situated within the grounds of James Cook University Hospital in a picturesque, peaceful setting. It is funded only by charitable donation and not by the NHS.
